Kung Fu Panda is about Po, a clumsy and overweight panda who helps out at his father’s noodle shop. Despite not looking the part, Po longs to be a kung fu master. An ancient prophecy declares him the “Dragon Warrior.” He must save the Valley of Peace. So, Po must get over his doubts. He must learn from his heroes, the Furious Five, to stop the evil snow leopard Tai Lung.
The star of the film is Jack Black, who voices Po with his characteristic humor and charm. Black’s performance adds depth to the lovable panda. It makes Po’s journey from zero to hero both hilarious and heartwarming.
