You can watch Peacock’s shows, movies, and live sports with your Xfinity service. This guide explains how to activate Peacock. The process is simple and takes only a few minutes.
Check Your Xfinity Plan
Some Xfinity plans include a Peacock Premium subscription. This gives you access to more content than the free version of Peacock.
First, check if your Xfinity plan includes Peacock Premium. You may have this benefit if you are an Xfinity Internet customer with a Gigabit or Gigabit Plus plan. Also, customers in the Diamond or Platinum tiers of the Xfinity Rewards program may receive Peacock Premium.
You can verify your plan details on the Xfinity website or your monthly bill. This will tell you if you get Peacock Premium at no extra cost.
Start the Activation
- To begin, you need to link your Xfinity account to a Peacock account. You can do this on the Xfinity website.
- Go to the Xfinity website and find the Peacock activation page. You will need your Xfinity ID and password to sign in. Once you sign in, the website will guide you through the activation.
- You can also start the activation from your Xfinity X1 or Flex device. Open the Peacock app from the list of apps. The app will show you how to link your accounts.
Link Your Accounts
You will need to create a new Peacock account or sign in to an existing one. Use your email address to create the account. If you already have a Peacock account, use that email to sign in.
The system will connect your Xfinity and Peacock accounts. This confirms that you are an Xfinity customer. After you link the accounts, you can start watching Peacock. You can use the Peacock app on any supported device. Just sign in with your new Peacock account details.
